CEPOW in its mission clearly states the emphases on collaborative action and networking and uphold that through meaningful and inclusive participation, sustainable development can be achieved. This denotes the importance of communication and active public participation in her work to achieve their goals. There is no doubting the fact that the Communication/Marketing Department in every organization is the key and one of the most important of the departments. This is so because this department is the only tool the organization uses to tell the world what they stand for and what they have to offer to the general public. It is also important for selling the image of the organization. The Communication department of CEPOW uses the internet and Media as its main tool. However, other communication tools in cases of advertisement of activities for the public CEPOW have a website (www.cepowcam.org), a facebook page www.facebook.com/cepow1 @cepowcam; a twitter handle and an email address (info@cepowcam.org). All of these and more can be used to share initiatives and change lives as our slogan depicts. This department’s main goal is to sky rocket public participation in CEPOW activities by enhancing user traffic on the site, increasing posts that attract likes and comments on Facebook page, so that a bigger network can be created.
